El Paso is a growing and changing city in the Most Southwestern part of Texas. El Paso has everything from entertainment, fine dining, hole in the wall places that tend to be some of the most sought out places to some very scenic parts of the city. El Paso is within walking distance to large Mexican city of Cd. Juarez. Downtown is being revitalized and the residents flock to the downtown attractions to enjoy all the festivities the city offers.
El Paso is adapting to all the people moving here by building new communities throughout the city. In the Far East side of town you can find New Home Builders building up communities on large sections of the desert. North East side of El Paso is seeing a lot more growth more than recent years due to a high number of soldiers reporting into Fort Bliss.

1. Emory Road/ West Sunset Road
This community features homes that average about $300,000 in price with a average income of $100,000. This district is inhabited by executive professionals as well as many families with school-aged children per the article on livability.com. This area is located right off Doniphan and N. Mesa on the Westside of town. There are parks, shopping and plenty to do in the area.
2. Mission Hills
Per the article on livability.com the median home prices are about $200,000, Mission Hills features a number of houses built from 1940-1970. Some homes built between 1970 up to about 1999. The district is known for its walkability access and safety. A handful of restaurants, stores and parks are also in this El Paso neighborhood. According to neighborhoodscout.com Mission Hills has a 56.4% of the working population employed by executive, management and professional occupations.
3. Park Foothills
Park Hills is a neighborhood in the North East side of El Paso. It is located West of U.S 54 to the Franklin Mountains. According to neighborhoodscout.com the average sales price on homes in this area is about $162,000. If your looking for a good quite neighborhood with little to no crime to retire in, then this El Paso community is one to look into. It is amongst the top 7% of retirement communities in Texas according to neighborhoodscout.com.
4. Villa Hermosa
Scenic parks, restaurants are all part of this El Paso community. Homes in this area can range from about $160,000 and up. You will find all walks of life from military professionals, executives and other professionals.
